Brandywine Knocks Off Wilkes-Barre 3-0

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. -- The Penn State Brandywine volleyball team handled Penn State Wilkes-Barre for the second time this season, winning on the road in three sets on Sunday. Set scores for the match were 25-8, 25-4, 25-12.

Melina Asslanian (Broomall, Pa./Marple Newtown) and Rikelle Taylor (Nottingham, Pa./Solanco) tied for the team lead with three kills, while Rebecca Gonzalez (Clearwater, Fla./Washburn Academy) recorded nine assists and a team-best seven aces. Madison Swenson (Chadds Ford, Pa./Kennett) provided five aces and Asslanian chipped in with three.

Brandywine (11-14, 10-1 PSUAC) hosts Penn State York for Senior Night in its regular-season finale Tuesday at 7:00 pm.
