PSUAC Names 56 Brandywine Student-Athletes To All-Academic Team

MEDIA, Pa. -- A total of 56 Penn State Brandywine winter and spring student-athletes earned recognition on the Penn State University Athletic Conference All-Academic Team following the conclusion of the spring semester.

To earn a place on the PSUAC All-Academic Team, student-athletes must amass a minimum GPA of 3.0 during their semester of competition or own a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater and be at least a sophomore in both their academic and athletic standing.

Nearly 60 percent of Brandywine's winter and spring student-athletes were honored. Overall during the 2021-22 academic year, 98 student-athletes from Brandywine earned a place on the PSUAC All-Academic Teams.

Baseball and softball led the way during the spring semester as both teams had 14 honorees. Men's basketball and track and field each placed nine student-athletes on the all-academic team, while women's basketball saw seven players honored and tennis had three selections.
