Brandywine’s Fall Student-Athletes Receive Recognition On PSUAC All-Academic Team

MEDIA, Pa. -- A total of 32 Penn State Brandywine fall student-athletes earned recognition on the Penn State University Athletic Conference All-Academic Team following the conclusion of the fall semester.

To earn a place on the PSUAC All-Academic Team, student-athletes must amass a minimum GPA of 3.0 during their semester of competition or own a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater and be at least a sophomore in both their academic and athletic standing.

Brandywine volleyball saw seven of its 12 student-athletes claim the honor as the team finished the fall with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.20.

Men's soccer, which won the PSUAC Championship in November, paced all teams with 12 selections, while seven members of the women's soccer squad were named to the all-academic team. Three student-athletes from both the golf and cross country teams garnered accolades.

Individually, 10 fall student-athletes earned Dean's List recognition from the University after posting a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher. Four student-athletes posted a 4.0 GPA during the semester: Laura de Jesus (Volleyball), Amanda Floyd (Volleyball), Liam Pheiffer (Men's Soccer), Christian Zita (Men's Cross Country).
