Joseph Venable Signs With Brandywine Men's Basketball

MEDIA, Pa. -- The Penn State Brandywine men's basketball team will welcome Joseph Venable to the squad this fall for his freshman season.

Venable played three seasons of basketball at Chesapeake High School in Maryland before transferring to Francis Scott Key High School for his senior season. At Chesapeake, Venable was the team's MVP as a sophomore and claimed the Unsung Hero Award as a junior when he finished third on the team in scoring.

Venable chose to attend Penn State Brandywine because "I feel like it was the perfect fit for me as far as furthering my academics and I felt like it was the perfect place for me to further my athletic career. Penn State Brandywine felt like home! It has all of the resources I need to thrive and succeed in school."
