Bryce Barrouk Named USCAA Player Of The Week

MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine senior Bryce Barrouk (Glen Mills, Pa./Rustin) was named United States Collegiate Athletic Association Men's Basketball Player of the Week on Tuesday.

Barrouk averaged 22.0 points and 6.7 rebounds during a three-game week for the Lions that included two Penn State University Athletic Conference victories.

Barrouk shot 8-for-13 from the field and knocked down a trio of three-pointers en route to scoring 26 points against Moravian on Wednesday. Two days later, he notched his fourth double-double of the year with a 13-point, 11-rebound performance against Penn State DuBois. Barrouk closed out the week with his fourth 20-point game this winter, netting 27 points on 11-for-17 shooting against Penn State Greater Allegheny.

During the week, Barrouk shot 51 percent from the field and 88 percent from the free throw line. He added five assists, three steals and two blocked shots.

Brandywine's leading scorer, Barrouk ranks eighth in the PSUAC by averaging 18.9 points per game. He is also the conference's second-leading rebounder at 8.7 boards per outing and is the only player in the league to rank in the top 10 in both categories.

In 58 career games, Barrouk has averaged 15.3 points per game. He needs to score 113 points to become the seventh 1,000-point scorer in Penn State Brandywine men's basketball history.
