Bryce Barrouk Earns PSUAC Player Of The Week Award

MEDIA, Pa. -- After scoring his 1,000th career point, Penn State Brandywine senior Bryce Barrouk (Glen Mills, Pa./Rustin) was named Penn State University Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week on Tuesday.

Barrouk became the seventh member of the Brandywine men's basketball 1,000-point club last Tuesday when he scored 23 points in a victory over Penn State Lehigh Valley.

Overall during the week, Barrouk tallied three 20-point efforts, including a 28-point performance during a road win at Penn State Fayette, and notched two double-doubles. He pulled down 12 rebounds against both Lehigh Valley and Fayette. For the week, Barrouk averaged 20.0 points and 9.0 rebounds over four games.

In 20 games this winter, Barrouk is the eighth-leading scorer in the PSUAC, averaging 18.4 points per game. He also stands third in rebounding, pulling down 8.8 boards per outing, and is tied for second in blocks per game (1.3).

In addition, Barrouk ranks in the top 10 in three-point percentage and free throw percentage. His 48 made three-pointers are the highest total in the conference.

Brandywine (9-14, 7-6 PSUAC) visits Division II West Chester on Friday at 7:00 PM.
