Christian Dzema Named PSUAC Runner Of The Week

MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine's Christian Dzema (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) was named Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week by the Penn State University Athletic Conference on Tuesday.

Dzema competed at Bryn Mawr College's Dan Talbot Invitational at Rose Tree Park, placing 12th in a field of 53 Division II and Division III runners.

His time of 32:47 was Dzema's second-fastest 8K mark of the fall and just 22 seconds off a top-10 mark at the meet.

Dzema's season-best time came one week earlier at the Penn State Abington Invitational when he crossed the finish line in 32:07.

Brandywine has one meet remaining before the PSUAC Championship on Oct. 30. The Lions will travel to Maryland for the Hood College Invitational on Oct. 16.
