MEDIA, Pa. -- In its return from a week-long break, the Penn State Brandywine women's basketball team was defeated by Immaculata University on Monday night, falling 89-33.
Anaiyah Allen (Lutz, Fla./Steinbrenner) led the Lions' offense with 11 points, while Sierra Diawara (Glenolden, Pa./Interboro) added eight. Allen also collected a team-best four steals.
Amelia Brooks (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) grabbed nine rebounds and both Erin Michael (Brookhaven, Pa./Sun Valley) and Amanda Floyd (Glenolden, Pa./Interboro) pulled in five. Floyd added three blocked shots.
Immaculata held a 26-13 lead through one quarter and pushed the margin to 45-20 by halftime. The Mighty Macs shot 18-for-30 during the second half, scoring 44 more points.
Abigail Lentowski paced the Mighty Macs with 19 points and 12 rebounds off the bench.
Brandywine (4-3) looks to bounce back Tuesday night at Penn State Wilkes-Barre at 6:00 PM.
