USCAA Selects Floyd As All-American Honorable Mention

MEDIA, Pa. -- The United States Collegiate Athletic Association released its Division II women's basketball all-Americans and Penn State Brandywine junior Amanda Floyd (Glenolden, Pa./Interboro) earned honorable mention status.

Floyd tied for 13th nationally in scoring and paced the Lions at 16.0 points per outing. Her 479 points in 30 games was the fourth-highest total in the USCAA, while logging a USCAA-leading 1,007 minutes of action. In addition, Floyd topped the USCAA with 75 made three-pointers, while shooting 38 percent from beyond the arc.

Also an all-conference standout, Floyd reached double figures in scoring 26 times, including eight 20-point games. She poured in a career-high 30 points in a victory over Penn State Scranton on January 13.

Floyd added 6.9 rebounds per game, while recording team bests with 2.6 assists and 2.6 steals per outing. She tallied four double-doubles and amassed seven steals in a game on two occasions.
