Hanrahan Earns PSUAC Goalkeeper Of The Week

MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine junior Alyssa Hanrahan (Clifton Heights, Pa./Upper Darby) was named Penn State University Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Week on Tuesday.

Making her first-career start in net, Hanrahan earned the win Saturday at Penn State Beaver by stopping nine of the 10 shots she faced in a 4-1 triumph. She shutout Beaver during the opening half, making six stops, and added three more saves during the final 45 minutes.

Hanrahan owns a 1-1 record with 12 saves during two games in goal this fall. She also has tallied a goal and an assist, while playing four matches in the field.

Brandywine (3-4, 2-3 PSUAC) travels to Manor College Thursday afternoon for a 3:30 PM match.
