MONT ALTO, Pa. -- Fourth-seeded Penn State Brandywine was eliminated from the postseason following a 9-1 defeat at top-seeded Penn State Mont Alto during the semifinal round of the Penn State University Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Tournament on Sunday afternoon.

Highlighting the day for Brandywine was a 31-save performance by goalkeeper Kiiani Banks (Elizabeth, N.J./Elizabeth). She made 15 first-half stops and added 16 more saves during the second half.

Jess James (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) provided the offense for the Lions with a goal during the 36th minute. The score was the fifth of the season for James. Meltem Ozdemir (Carney Point, N.J./St. Mark's) and Joyln Walleekendeh (Trainer, Pa./Chichester) both tallied two shots on goal for Brandywine.

Avery Diehl and Erika Padilla both collected four goals to lead Mont Alto, which will face Penn State Schuylkill for the conference championship Wednesday in State College.
