TACOMA PARK, Md. -- The Penn State Brandywine women's soccer team fell in a non-conference road matchup at Washington Adventist Sunday night, dropping a 9-1 decision.
Brandywine recorded six shots on goal, including two each from Zoey Lineman (West Deptford, N.J./GCIT) and Leyla Vasquez (West Chester, Pa./West Chester East).
Lineman netted her fourth goal of the season to open the scoring, but Washington Adventist answered with five scores from Alexa Escobar and four by Madeline Meija.
Brandywine faces Valley Forge for the second time this season Thursday on its home field at 4:00 PM. Brandywine defeated UVF 10-0 on Sept. 3.
