WILKES-BARRE, Pa. -- The Penn State Brandywine volleyball team won for the third time in four conference matches, defeating Penn State Wilkes-Barre 3-0 (25-7, 25-18, 25-13) on the road Monday night.
Amanda Floyd (Glenolden, Pa./Interboro) produced seven kills, seven aces, seven digs and six blocks, while Anna Ramirez (Exton, Pa./Downingtown East) tallied a team-high 11 kills, along with four aces and three digs.
Laura Jezyk (Wilmington, Del./St. Elizabeth) passed out 19 assists and added four digs and three aces. Katie Snyder (Wilmington, Del./Dickinson) collected six kills and two blocks, while Lexie Berry (Brookhaven, Pa./Daegu (South Korea)) recorded four blocks. Brandywine's 12 total blocks were a season high.
The Lions also received nine digs from Suzie Alvarenga (Fullerton, Calif./Notre Dame Academy) and seven from Leilu Cambell (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville).
Brandywine (4-4, 3-1 PSUAC) continues conference play Thursday at Penn State Hazleton at 7:00 PM.
