Amanda Floyd Named PSUAC Player Of The Week

MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine senior Amanda Floyd (Glenolden, Pa./Interboro) was named Volleyball Player of the Week by the Penn State University Athletic Conference on Tuesday.

Floyd hit .413 last week, recording 32 kills and 11 blocks in three matches.

She began the week with a 10-kill, five block effort at Montgomery County on Tuesday. Four days later, Floyd tallied 14 kills and two blocks in a Senior Day victory over Penn State Wilkes-Barre. She also produced eight kills and four blocks at Penn State York.

For the season, Floyd ranks second on the team with 155 kills and 33 blocks. She also owns 62 digs, while playing in all 62 sets over 19 matches for the Lions.

Brandywine (12-7) begins the postseason Tuesday night at Penn State Hazleton in a PSUAC Tournament quarterfinal match.
