MEDIA, Pa. -- The Penn State Brandywine men's tennis team was defeated by Lancaster Bible College 7-2 on Wednesday afternoon during its 2020 spring season opener.

Stephen Le (Chesterbrook, Pa./Conestoga) highlighted the Lions by winning a pair of matches. He swept his No. 1 singles match 6-1, 6-0 and then teamed with junior Victor Ficarra (Glenmoore, Pa./Downingtown STEM Academy) to win 8-3 at top-flight doubles.

Ficarra won three points at No. 2 singles, but was downed 6-2, 6-1, while Stevie DiSipio (Havertown, Pa./Haverford) and Nathan Bowman (York, Pa./York Suburban) both claimed one point during their respective singles bouts.

Brandywine returns to the courts Saturday, March 21 against Gwynedd Mercy at 11:00 AM.
