52 Brandywine Student-Athletes Named To PSUAC Winter/Spring All-Academic Teams

MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine placed 52 winter and spring student-athletes on the Penn State University Athletic Conference All-Academic Team following the conclusion of the spring semester.

To earn a place on the PSUAC All-Academic Team, student-athletes must amass a minimum GPA of 3.0 during their semester of competition or own a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater and be at least a sophomore in both their academic and athletic standing.

Nearly 60 percent of Brandywine's 88 student-athletes across all six winter and spring teams received awards. A total of 98 student-athletes earned PSUAC All-Academic Team selections during the 2023-24 academic year.

Baseball featured 16 award winners, while softball and men's basketball both placed 10 student-athletes on the PSUAC All-Academic Team. Six members of the women's basketball team earned laurels and men's and women's tennis each saw five student-athletes honored.

Twenty-three student-athletes also earned Dean's List recognition from the University after recording a GPA of 3.50 or greater during the semester. Matteo Cousineau (men's tennis), Meghan Ferry (softball), Raj Mamidala (men's tennis), Jamey Massung (baseball), Jordan Polillo (women's tennis), Karly Rees (softball) and Samma Zahran (women's tennis) all earned a 4.0 GPA during the semester.
