Jeff Scarpone was named sports information coordinator at Penn State Brandywine in 2014 and promoted to assistant athletic director in 2019.

Scarpone handles all aspects related to the writing and distribution of news and feature releases, athletic web site maintenance, statistics and social media for athletic department.

A native of West Chester, Pa., Scarpone came to Brandywine after spending the 2013-14 academic year at Centenary College of New Jersey. During that time, Scarpone successfully promoted four academic all-Americans and numerous all-conference student-athletes.

Prior to arriving at Centenary, he spent two years as the assistant sports information director at Washington & Jefferson College, an NCAA Division III institution near Pittsburgh.

A 2011 graduate of the University of Delaware, Scarpone earned his bachelor’s degree in sport management, while working in the sports information office for three years as an undergraduate. He completed his master’s degree in the same field from California University of Pennylvania in 2013.

Scarpone is an active member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
