Brandywine baseball sweeps double header against Williamson Trade

The cold weather could not keep Brandywine's bats from heating up in the first of two games on March 28 against Williamson Trade School.  With six runs in the third inning, the Lions were able to take a commanding 8-2 lead and did not let up from there.

With four more runs scored in the fifth inning, Tom Osenbach achieved an undisputed victory from the mound for Brandywine.  Osenbach pitched five innings allowing three hits and two earned runs on the way to notching nine strikeouts.

Brandywine sealed the double header sweep in the next game by breaking the tie in the seventh inning to win 4-3.  Pitcher, Matt Gallo received the win, allowing six hits, three earned runs and striking out four.
