Brandywine struggled to produce runs in the first of two games this Saturday after producing six hits. Brandywine shortened Mont Alto's 3-0 lead in the sixth with an RBI from Tom Osenbach but suffered a six run let up the following inning, falling 9-1 after seven innings.
In the second meeting, defense was the key to splitting the double header. Brandywine managed three runs, divided through the first, fourth, and sixth inning. The story of game two was Carmen Scota's shutout performance from the mound, allowing no runs on two hits and two strikeouts.
