Brandywine falls by ten in the first while coming from behind in second to notch first victory of the season

Greater Allegheny broke out in the fifth inning to score nine runs and wrap up and early win 10-0.  Successful pitching by Greater Allegheny's Eddie Emes shut down Brandywine's lineup with no hits, no runs, walking five, but striking out seven.  Matthew Trotta received the loss, allowing eight hits and three earned runs in four innings.  Brian Pennock relieved Trotta in the fifth, allowing two earned runs on three hits.

Brandywine rallied late to take their first lead of the game in the sixth inning and then closed the door in the top of the seventh to seal the victory to split the double header with Greater Allegheny.  Jimmy Quinn and Gabe Encarnacion drove in runs in the seventh to take the lead, both with RBI singles.  Carmen Scota received the win, pitching all seven innings of the game.  Scota allowed five earned runs on eight hits, striking out three batters and pitching a 1-2-3 seventh inning to end the game.
