
Brandywine Wraps Up Fall Slate With Third-Place Finish At RUC Invitational
WILLINGBORO, N.J. -- The Penn State Brandywine men's golf team finished in third place at the Rutgers-Camden Scarlet Raptor Invitational, the Lions' final fall competition, on Monday afternoon.
Brandywine produced a team count of 352 strokes to place third in the six-squad field, while the host Scarlet Raptors claimed the team title in 319 strokes and William Paterson was the runner-up with 332 strokes.
Topping the Lions was Brady Foytack (West Chester, Pa./West Chester East), who finished ninth with a round of 86. Eric Angle (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) recorded a 10th-place finish after carding an 85, while Ty Coccia (West Chester, Pa./West Chester East) tied for 12th in 88 strokes.
Matt Cavanaugh (Upper Darby, Pa./Bonner-Prendie) completed his round in 91 strokes and Joseph Koehler (Chadds Ford, Pa./Garnet Valley) shot a round of 102.
The Scarlet Raptors' Pearse Lee was the individual medalist after firing a round of three-over-par 74.
Brandywine will continue the 2024-25 season beginning in March. Schedule details will be announced during the winter.
