Brandywine defeats league rival Penn College 3-2

The Penn State Brandywine men traveled to conference rival Penn College and came home with a long awaited victory.  Over the years this match up has become one of the most important games for the Brandywine Lions to look forward too.  On this day, Penn State Brandywine played with passion and would not be denied early season bragging rights.  Assisted by Mohomad Sesay, Nabieu Sesay began the scoring assault at the 17th minute. Brandywine held an early lead at half time 1-0 until Penn College rivals scored two goals, the second goal coming in the 73rd minute; however, their lead was short lived as Bill Walleekendeh scored just seconds later in the 73rd minute which led to our second straight overtime game.  The Penn State Brandywine boys remained poised and lead by the swift foot work of Nabieu Sesay he laid the ball ahead to Bill Walleekendeh who scored his second goal at the 93rd minute giving Brandywine their first win with a 3-2 overtime victory.  Brandywine stormed their rivals home field and celebrated graciously.
