Evan Roland Lands USCAA Player Of The Week Honor

MEDIA, Pa. -- Freshman Evan Roland (Aston, Pa./Sun Valley) was selected as the men's soccer player of the week by the United States Collegiate Athletic Association on Tuesday after posting five goals and 11 total points for Penn State Brandywine last week.

Roland scored three times Saturday, giving him his first-career hat trick, as Brandywine rolled past Penn State Wilkes Barre. One day later, Roland added two more goals and an assist in a triumph over Penn State Mont Alto, giving him 11 total points for the week.

In six games this fall, Roland is Brandywine's fifth-leading goal scorer with six tallies, while standing seventh on the team with 14 total points. His six goals are also tied for the sixth-highest total in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.

Brandywine (7-2-2, 5-0 PSUAC) plays host to Penn State Lehigh Valley on Wednesday at 4:00 PM.
