Men's Basketball Class of 2028: Alexander Derkits

MEDIA, Pa. -- Alexander Derkits will continue his education and basketball career at Penn State Brandywine beginning this fall.

Derkits arrives at Brandywine as a transfer from NCAA Division I St. Francis University, where he competed for the Red Flash during the 2022-23 season.

Prior to enrolling at St. Francis, Derkits competed for the Whitehall High School basketball team. He played in the Lehigh Valley Senior All-Star Classic after averaging 15 points per game as a senior.

Derkits chose to attend Penn State Brandywine because "I felt like it was the best option for me to continue my basketball career and my education."
