Brandywine Falls In Final Home Match

MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine was defeated during its final home men's tennis match of the season, falling 9-0 against Rowan-South Jersey on Sunday afternoon.

Luke DeAngelis (Downingtown, Pa./Henderson), playing at No. 1 singles, earned eight points, but dropped a 6-2, 7-6 decision. Julian Pinder (Penns Grove, N.J./Penns Grove) claimed five points at No. 2 singles before falling 6-3, 6-2, while Jackson Schultz (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville) won two points during his No. 3 bout, but was downed 6-1, 6-1.

Brandywine will wrap up its season Wednesday with a road matchup at Penn State Harrisburg beginning at 4:00 PM.
