Brandywine Places Fourth At Lincoln

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – The Penn State Brandywine women's cross country team finished fourth at the Lincoln University Invitational, which included NCAA Division II and Division III competition, on Thursday afternoon.

Leading the Lions during the 4K race was Jenaya Smith (Cohoes, N.Y./Cohoes), who placed sixth in a time of 20:44. Meghan Ferry (Gloucester City, N.J./Gloucester City) also placed in the top 10, running to a time of 22:49.

Madison Ollis (Coatesville, Pa./Avon Grove) turned in a time of 27:52, while Esha Thawani (Absecon, N.J./Ocean City) crossed the finish line in 28:49 and Iyana Handy (Chester, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) posted a mark of 38:14.

Brandywine will run again Friday at the Lebanon Valley Last Chance Invitational beginning at 5:15 PM.
