Patrick O’Neill Earns PSUAC Goalkeeper Of The Week Award

MEDIA, Pennsylvania -- The Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference selected Penn State Brandywine freshman Patrick O'Neill as its Men's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week on Wednesday.

O'Neill made 10 saves during Brandywine's 4-1 victory at Delaware Valley College on Monday afternoon, giving the Lions their first win over an NCAA Division III opponent in more than five years, while earning his first collegiate win in net.

Having made two starts and three total appearances in goal this fall, O'Neill owns a 2.18 goals-against average along with a .783 save percentage and has stopped 18 shots. He has also played eight games in the field, tallying two assists.

The Lions visit Penn State Hazelton on Saturday for a 2:00 pm match.
