ABINGTON, Pa. -- Penn State Abington topped Penn State Brandywine 10-0 in United East Conference women's soccer action early Wednesday afternoon.
Alexis Himelright (Oxford, Pa./Avon Grove Charter) and Ava Craddock (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) split time in goal for the Lions. Himelright stopped seven shots during the first 45 minutes, while Craddock notched five second-half saves.
Abington scored three times during the match's first 10 minutes and built a 7-0 lead by halftime. The hosts added three more tallies during the second half.
Madison McDowell accounted for all three second-period goals for Abington, while Nayeska Ravelo also tallied a hat trick.
Brandywine will play its final road match of the season Tuesday at Penn State Berks beginning at 5:00 PM.
