Brandywine Cross Country Teams Compete At Bryn Mawr Invitational

MEDIA, Pennsylvania -- The Penn State Brandywine cross country teams opened the 2015 campaign at the Bryn Mawr College Invitational on Tuesday evening as six Lions ran at Rose Tree Park. The meet did not feature team scoring.

Sophomore Annie Mueller (Lincoln University, Pa./Homeschooled) paced the Brandywine women with a 35th-place finish. She completed the 5K race in a time of 24:49. Classmate Robyn Gannon (Lansdowne, Pa./Archbishop Prendergast) crossed the finish line just over one minute later in 42nd place.

Junior Kristen Hall (Malvern, Pa./Great Valley) ran to a time of 30:04, while freshman Amanda Isenberger finished just behind her (30:24).

Freshman John Li ran to 16th place with a time of 19:24 during his first collegiate race, pacing two Lions during the men's 5K race. Sophomore Mario Miceli (Kennett Square, Pa./Unionville) completed the race in a time of 22:36.

Brandywine continues its season on Saturday, September 12 at the Penn State Greater Allegheny Invitational, where the Lion women will look to defend their 2014 team title.
