BRYN ATHYN, Pa. -- The Penn State Brandywine women's soccer team was downed 9-0 by host Bryn Athyn College during the regular-season finale for the Lions on Saturday afternoon.
Bryn Athyn scored four times in the first 10 minutes and six times overall during the first half to take control of the match. The hosts added three more scores during the second half.
Brandywine goalkeeper Kiiani Banks (Elizabeth, N.J./Elizabeth) made 16 saves in net, while playing all 90 minutes.
Bryn Athyn put 25 shots on target and did not yield a shot opportunity to Brandywine.
Brandywine (4-7, 3-5 PSUAC) will be the No. 4 seed in the PSUAC Tournament and travel to top-seeded Penn State Mont Alto next Saturday for a conference tournament semifinal matchup at 2:30 PM.
