Lions Swept At Immaculata

IMMACULATA, Pa. -- The Penn State Brandywine women's tennis team suffered a 9-0 loss at the hands of Immaculata on Tuesday afternoon.

The Mighty Macs won each singles match in straight sets after claiming all three doubles contests.

The No. 3 doubles match featuring Brandywine's Elizabeth Sexton (Berwyn, Pa./Westtown School) and Melody Zheng (Wilmington, Del./Mt. Pleasant) was closely contested, but Immaculata's Timesha Smith and Susan Callahan prevailed by a 9-7 score.

Brandywine looks to bounce back next Tuesday at DeSales (3:30 pm).
