Volleyball Class of 2028: Aaliyna Patel

MEDIA, Pa. -- The Penn State Brandywine volleyballball team announced the signing of Aaliyna Patel to its class of 2028 on Thursday.

Patel was a four-year member and two-year starting libero at Eleanor Roosevelt High School. A team captain in 2023, Patel totaled more than 400 digs during her career and posted the top serving percentage on the team. She received the Coach's Award in 2023.

Also a three-year captain for her club team, Patel earned the Most Spirited Award.

Patel chose to attend Penn State Brandywine "because of the welcoming community, excellent players and fantastic coaches. The Penn State degree just added to the volleyball team's unique culture and dynamic. This made the campus feel like home and I wanted that for my athletic and academic career."
