The Lions closed within one point twice more during the set, but could not tie the count. Brandywine led the final set by as many as three points at 19-16; however, Berks responded with eight of the next nine points to take the lead at 24-20. Two Piccirillo kills, an ace from Ramirez and two Berks errors allowed Brandywine to fight back into the lead at 25-24, but Berks tallied the final three points of the day to complete the sweep.
