MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine built a 21-point lead 15 minutes into the first half and never looked back en route to winning its seventh-straight Penn State University Athletic Conference men's basketball game by a score of 83-62 over Penn State Hazleton on Wednesday.

The Lions ran out early, leading 14-3 through seven minutes behind a combined 12 points from Johnta Dunson (Philadelphia, Pa./Freire Charter) and Devon Jones (Philadelphia, Pa./Abington).

Hazleton was within nine when Donovan Cumberbatch sank a layup with 8:15 to go in the opening half, but Brandywine held the visitors off the scoreboard for the next 5:40. Three minutes later, Brandywine opened up its largest lead of the night as Bryce Barrouk (Glen Mills, Pa./Rustin) buried two triples and Hockenbrock followed with a three-pointer to make the count 67-32.
