The game will mark the second against a Division I foe in program history for the Lions. Brandywine battled Penn in the Palestra on Nov. 18, 2017, falling 99-40.

Fairleigh Dickinson is coming off a historical run in the NCAA Tournament last spring. After winning an opening-round game, the Knights became just the second No. 16 seed to upset a No. 1 seed, defeating Purdue 63-58. In the Round of 32, FDU dropped a 78-70 decision to Florida Atlantic, which went on to reach the Final Four.

Wednesday's game will mark the debut of Brandywine head coach Nick Burke, who was hired in July.

Burke will be leading a veteran group as Brandywine returns 11 players from last year's squad that went 19-8 and claimed the No. 1 seed in the PSUAC Tournament. The Lions' 11 returners have combined to play 527 games in a Brandywine uniform since the beginning of the 2019-20 season.

Brandywine and FDU are set to tip off at 7:00 PM at Stratis Arena in Teaneck, N.J. Tickets can be purchaed by clicking here.
