Women's Soccer Class of 2026: Jalina Mercado

MEDIA, Pa. -- Jalina Mercado will compete for the Penn State Brandywine women's soccer team beginning this fall.

A four-year letter winner for the girls soccer team at Chichester High School, Mercado also competed in club soccer for the Chichester Soccer Club, 1776 United FC and Concord Red.

In addition, Mercado was selected to play with the NextGen USA All-Girls Team in Great Britain. While in Great Britain, she competed against club teams from Manchester, Binghamton and Reading.

Mercado chose to attend Penn State Brandywine because "it's close to home and the ability to play soccer for the next four years."
