Former Brandywine All-American Brianna Banks Signs Professional Soccer Contract

MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine all-American and 2019 graduateBrianna Banks inked a contract to play professional women's soccer with Peruvian soccer club Atletico Trujillo recently.

Banks, who was a four-time First Team United States Collegiate Athletic Association All-American, is Brandywine's all-time leading scorer, having produced 119 goals and 262 total points in 64 career matches. She was named Penn State University Athletic Conference Player of the Year four times during her career, while earning four First Team All-PSUAC selection.

At the conclusion of her senior season, Banks earned national player of the year laurels from the USCAA, the first-ever Brandywine student-athlete to accomplish the feat. Banks set team single-season records with 40 goals and 84 points during her senior campaign in 2019, while helping the Lions capture their fourth conference title in as many years.

Also a standout academically, Banks claimed academic all-American accolades and two Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar awards, along with four PSUAC All-Academic Team honors.

Banks graduated from Brandywine in 2019 with a degree in human development and family studies. She earned her master's degree from West Chester University in 2022.

Banks will begin her professional soccer career this spring with Atletico Trujillo, a member of Liga Femenina in Trujillo, Peru.
