Dorvilma Receives Second Goalkeeper Of The Week Award

MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine sophomore Demareste Dorvilma (Carteret, N.J./Carteret) was selected as the goalkeeper of the week by the Penn State University Athletic Conference and United States Collegiate Athletic Association for the second time this season on Tuesday.

Dorvilma posted a pair of shutout victories during Brandywine's conference triumphs over Penn State Hazleton and Penn State Beaver. She needed to make one save against Hazleton, while stopping four shots against Beaver, to keep a clean sheet for the week.

Dorvilma has now recorded three consecutive shutouts and owns a conference-high four shutouts this season. She also leads all PSUAC goalkeepers with five victories and ranks fourth in the league in saves with 66.

Brandywine (5-6, 3-1 PSUAC) will look to win its fourth-straight game Thursday when the Lions visit Penn State Schuylkill at 4:00 PM.
