Neumann Tops Brandywine In Non-Conference Matchup

ASTON, Pa. – Neumann scored three times during each half and defeated the Penn State Brandywine women's soccer team 6-0 on Saturday.

Neumann took the early three-goal lead, netting three markers during the first 23 minutes. The Knights scored three times in a span of six minutes midway through the second half.

Three Brandywine goalkeepers saw time in net. Jess James (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) got the start and stopped 10 shots during the opening half. Naya Rivera (Mays Landing, N.J./Oakcrest) made three saves, while Emily Orr (Eddystone, Pa./Ridley) went untested during the final 23:12.

Brandywine (4-3-1, 3-0 PSUAC) plays its next four matches against conference foes beginning Tuesday with a home contest against Penn State Mont Alto at 4:00 PM.
