UNIVERSITY PARK, Pennsylvania -- Penn State Brandywine sophomore guard Stacey MacArthur (Newtown Square, Pa./Delco Christian) was selected as the PSUAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week the league office announced on Tuesday.

MacArthur poured in a team-high 17 points and added four assists and three steals as Brandywine clinched the conference's regular-season title and No. 1 seed in the PSUAC Tournament during a 67-58 victory at Penn State Schuylkill last Tuesday.

On Friday at Trinity, MacArthur netted the go-ahead bucket with 2:33 to play and then iced the Lions' victory by sinking two free throws with three seconds left on the clock during a 66-63 triumph.

Overall last week, MacArthur averaged 17.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.5 steals in two games.

The top-seeded Lions will host either No. 4 Penn State Hazleton or No. 5 Penn State Fayette in a PSUAC Tournament semifinal on Saturday at 3:00 pm.
