Sullivan Stark Named PSUAC Setter Of The Week

MEDIA, Pa. -- The Penn State University Athletic Conference announced that Penn State Brandywine sophomore Sullivan Stark (Middletown, Del./William Penn) earned the Setter of the Week Award on Wednesday.

Stark totaled 141 assists, an average of nearly eight per set, during a 2-2 week against NCAA Division III competition for Brandywine. She set a career high with 49 assists in a four-set win over Bryn Athyn, while adding 11 digs and three blocks and followed that up with a 44-assist, 10-dig performance in a five-set victory over Penn College on Saturday.

Through two weeks of competition, Stark leads the PSUAC in assists by nearly 100 as she has handed out 220 helpers in seven matches, averaging 7.86 per set, also a conference-best mark. She also ranks fifth in the league with nine blocks and 10th in digs with 44.

Brandywine hosts its annual Dig Pink weekend beginning Saturday with matches against Penn State Lehigh Valley (2:00 pm) and Penn State Hazleton (4:00 pm).
