Brandywine Tops Bryn Athyn 3-1

BRYN ATHYN, Pa. -- Halee Kusner (Aston, Pa./Sun Valley), Nikki Poissant (Aston, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) and Rikelle Taylor (Nottingham, Pa./Solanco) combined for 33 of Penn State Brandywine's 44 kills during a 3-1 non-conference volleyball victory on Thursday night.

Kusner and Poissant both produced 12 kills, while Taylor added nine kills and three blocks. Poissant also led the team with 20 digs and Kusner also tallied three blocks.

Sullivan Stark (Middletown, Del./William Penn) collected 34 assists and nine digs, while Emily Battista (Broomall, Pa./Marple Newtown) racked up 10 digs and Becca Civera (Boothwyn, Pa./Chichester) recorded 11 digs.

Brandywine (16-5, 10-1 PSUAC) returns to its home court on Wednesday, October 12 for Senior Night against Penn State Mont Alto at 7:00 pm.
