MEDIA, Pa. -- The Penn State Brandywine volleyball team moved to 3-0 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference by sweeping Penn State Lehigh Valley 3-0 (25-7, 25-11, 25-12) on Monday night.
Sydney Stevens (Wilmington, Del./Alexis I. DuPont) set down nine of Brandywine's 12 aces, while Anna Ramirez (Exton, Pa./Downingtown East) produced a team-high 12 kills and Amanda Floyd (Glenolden, Pa./Interboro) chipped in with six kills.
Laura Jezyk (Wilmington, Del./St. Elizabeth) tallied nine assists and Sophie Scrivo (Chester, Conn./Valley Regional) dished out eight helpers.
Defensively, Scrivo and Lexie Berry (Brookhaven, Pa./Daegu) tallied three blocks each. Suzie Alvarenga (Fullerton, Calif./Notre Dame Academy) collected seven digs, while Sydney Terrell (Walkersville, Md./St. John's Catholic Prep) and Floyd both recorded six digs.
Brandywine (4-2, 3-0 PSUAC) will step away from conference play on Wednesday when the Lions visit Rosemont at 7:00 PM.
