35 Brandywine Student-Athletes Named To PSUAC Winter/Spring All-Academic Team
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pennsylvania -- A total of 38 winter and spring student-athletes earned academic all-conference awards from the Penn State University Athletic Conference following the completion of the spring semester.
To receive the award, student-athletes must post a minimum grade-point average of 3.00 during their semester of competition or own a 3.00 cumulative GPA. Brandywine had 27 fall student-athletes receive the award following the fall semester, giving the Lions a total of 65 all-academic honorees during the 2014-15 academic year.
The women's basketball team led the way as all 14 active members of the squad garnered academic recognition. Eleven members of the baseball team earned the distinction, while five members of Brandywine's PSUAC champion softball squad received the award.
Additionally, three men's and three women's tennis players as well as a pair of men's basketball student-athletes were honored.
