Brandywine Welcomes Lauren Pescatore As Head Tennis Coach

MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine has selected Lauren Pescatore as its new head men's and women's tennis coach announced Director of Athletics Bobbi Caprice on Monday.

Pescatore comes to Brandywine from Chichester High School where she served as head coach of the boys and girls tennis teams. After working as an assistant coach at Chichester for three seasons, Pescatore was elevated to head coach of both squads in March 2018.

Previously, Pescatore was an assistant coach at Archbishop Prendergast High School for one season and also worked at Legacy Youth Tennis and Education, helping to bring fundamentals of the sport to youth in Chester.

Pescatore is a 2011 graduate of Chestnut Hill College. A two-year member of the Griffins' NCAA Division II women's tennis team, Pescatore earned her bachelor's degree in human services. She also owns a master's degree in social work from Widener University.
