Women's Tennis Class of 2027: Samma Zahran

MEDIA, Pa. -- The Penn State Brandywine women's tennis team welcomed incoming recruit Samma Zahran to the team recently.

Zahran was a four-year letterwinner at Cardinal O'Hara High School, playing No. 1 singles during all four seasons of her high school career. A four-time All-Catholic League honoree, Zahran was named team MVP as a senior. She was a two-time district qualifier and played club tennis at Level7Tennis Academy.

Zahran chose to attend Penn State Brandywine because "In the beginning of looking for a college to attend, I wanted a small, but very friendly community. Penn State reached out to me a show they were interested in me and my tennis ability. I decided to check it out and loved the campus because it fit all of my needs: small, social and very attentive with emailing and special attention. This was great for me because it showed they cared."
