Brandywine Downed By Albright In Season Finale

MEDIA, Pa. -- The Penn State Brandywine men's and women's tennis teams wrapped up their 2023-24 seasons on Saturday afternoon as both teams dropped 9-0 decisions to Albright.

For the women, Samma Zahran (Brookhaven, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) won five games, but dropped her No. 1 singles match 6-2, 6-3. Zahran and Jackie Capers (Enola, Pa./East Pennsboro) teamed to win four games during their No. 1 doubles bout before falling 8-4.

On the men's side, John Stine (Collegeville, Pa./Methacton) went to a second-set tie break before dropping the second frame 7-6 at No. 2 singles. He combined with Alexander Michael (Middletown, N.Y./Middletown) to win three games during their top-flight doubles match, but the duo were topped 8-3.
