Baseball Class of 2027: Jamey Massung

MEDIA, Pa. -- Jamey Massung will continue his education and baseball career at Penn State Brandywine beginning this fall.

Massung was a four-year member of the baseball team at Phillipsburg-Osceola High School. He earned a pair of varsity letters and led Phillipsburg-Osceola to a Mountain League championship in 2022, while also being named Outstanding Offensive Player of the Year in 2021.

Outside of athletics, Massung was a member of the disctrict and regional symphonic band and the PMEA District Choir.

Massung chose to attend Penn State Brandywine because "I felt Penn State Brandywine had a feeling of community and pride and I was impressed with the strong support from the staff. I am excited because I can attend the Brandywine campus for four years to complete my degree, while also playing baseball. Coach Gallo and Myeisha were very welcoming throughout the recruitment process. Also, the Brandywine campus has the advantage of its geographical location to Philadelphia and the opportunities that provides. I am looking forward to continuing my educational and athletic journey here."
