DUBOIS, Pennsylvania -- Stacey MacArthur (Newtown Square, Pa./Delco Christian) scored 17 points for the second-straight game and Penn State Brandywine ran away with an 87-56 PSUAC women's basketball victory at Penn State DuBois on Saturday afternoon.

Brandywine (9-4, 4-0 PSUAC), which scored 19 of the game's first 24 points and never trailed, improved to 4-0 in league play, one of just two teams with an unblemished league record, while DuBois dropped to 1-4 against PSUAC competition and 4-7 overall.

Cashae Hinton's (Norristown, Pa./Norristown) three-pointer broke a 4-4 tie early in the game and ignited a 15-1 run to give the Lions a 19-5 edge. MacArthur and Chrissy Gledhill (Secane, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) followed with triples and Lauren Munro (Glenolden, Pa./Interboro) capped the surge with a jumper at the 15:31 mark.

MacArthur sank a three-pointer and added a free throw as Brandywine's lead swelled past 20 points for the first time late in the opening half.

After DuBois trimmed its deficit to 14, Chrissy Gledhill canned a triple to send Brandywine into the half with a 46-29 lead.

The Lions were never challenged during the second half as Jessy Gledhill's (Secane, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) trifecta pushed the lead to 22 with 15:35 to play. Seven minutes later, Hinton, MacArthur and Chrissy Gledhill combined to score nine-straight points for the Lions and Brandywine would cruise to the finish.

MacArthur connected on 4-of-6 shots from the field and 7-of-8 free throws to lead all players in scoring, while Hinton and Munro both finished in double figures with 10 points. Chrissy and Jessy Gledhill both tallied nine points and Jilly Gledhill (Secane, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) added seven as Brandywine's reserves combined to outscore DuBois' bench 40-11.

Brandywine shot 44 percent from the field and netted 24 points off turnovers, while holding a 29-28 edge on the boards. Hinton pulled down a team-best five rebounds and collected two steals and a pair of assists.

Ashley Brown paced DuBois with 12 points and seven rebounds.
