THE GAME: Saturday's matchup is a campus game of the BD Global Gulf Coast Showcase, in which Penn will be competing beginning Monday in Florida. Penn State Brandywine will be facing a Division I foe for the first time, but will play at the Palestra for the sixth time since 1995. Most recently, the Lions suffered a 55-48 setback to the Quakers' junior varsity squad on January 20, 2005. Each of the teams' five meetings at the Palestra came while Brandywine was allowed only two-year eligibility for student-athletes by PSUAC rule.

LAST TIME OUT: Brandywine dropped a 66-62 home decision to McDaniel College on Wednesday night during the team's season opener. The Lions led for nearly the entire game before a late rally by McDaniel put the Green Terror in front for good with under two minutes to play. In his debut at Brandywine, senior Terrence Brown produced a 24-point, 10-rebound double-double, while classmate Donte Winfield, also playing his first game at Brandywine, added 14 points. Brandywine forced 22 turnovers during the setback.

SCOUTING PENN: The Quakers picked up their first victory of the season on Wednesday, topping Navy 66-45. Overall, Penn sits at 1-2 through the first week of the season, having split a pair of games at the Palestra during its three-game homestand that concludes on Saturday.
